Why get anonymous image hosting?

There’s nothing wrong with getting anonymous image hosting. People do it all the time and for quite a few reasons. Not all of those reasons are nefarious either.

For example, perhaps you have a hobby or strange interest that’s not illegal or even immoral, but you also don’t want your colleagues or professional acquaintances to know about this interest or hobby. Maybe you’re into furry fandom.

Now most furries are usually well covered including their face, either wearing a mask or or a full on top cover.

However, sometimes furry conventions can get pretty wild and masks, especially heavy top covers, can get pretty hot so they take them off.

Besides, how can you drink with a mask or a heavy top cover on? Things can get a little wild and crazy at conventions and photos can be taken.

Maybe you want to share the good times you’ve had with your other fellow furries but, you’re all spread out.

This is where you may want to set up your own website, use a file sharing or anonymous image hosting site to host your craziness.

Privacy is an issue for many people. Unfortunately, in today’s world on the internet privacy is becoming harder and harder to come by.

However, let’s say you’re a professional Account Executive, a Chief Executive Officer for a multinational corporation etc.

You wouldn’t want your professional acquaintances to know about this furry fandom hobby of yours, would you?

This is just one example of where anonymous image hosting can come in handy. This way only you and only those you give permission to can access these images.

Also, your users can access photos anonymously as well. Perhaps you want to write about it or share videos.

In these cases not only may you need anonymous image hosting, you may also need anonymous hosting in general for an entire website.

In this post I’m going to show you how to get anonymous image hosting for yourself.

How do I host an anonymous image?

There are several ways to host an anonymous image.

The key however, that all these different ways I’m going to show you having in common is that you must create an anonymous user file for yourself first.

You’re basically going to create an imaginary identity for yourself so you can become practically untraceable on the internet.

This is key. Because the better you can conceal your identity the more options you will have to host any image you like anonymously.

You can use the above board that are publicly accessible image hosting platforms.

You can also create an entire WordPress website anonymously and host your photos there as well.

There are other platforms that allow anonymous web hosting where you may not necessarily need to create an entire identity as well.

However, if you don’t, you may be a little less secure in your anonymity than if you were to create an anonymous user profile.

Here are a couple links you can check out that have been recommended for anonymous image hosting:

Of course there are dozens of platforms that you can find with a simple Google Search, where although they don’t offer specific “anonymous image hosting”, you can still host your images anonymously on them by setting up an anonymous user profile and email accounts as I’ve mentioned throughout this post.

If you would like further details on setting up an anonymous user profile and email addresses, you can check out my post here, “Anonymous video hosting. FAQs and Fiction.

What is Post images and does it offer anonymous image hosting?

Postimages offers free image upload and hosting integration for forums mainly.

However, you can also host free pictures and have photo sharing for your websites and blogs.

In addition, Postimages do offer anonymous image hosting.

Postimages does not require a registration in order to upload images either, so it doesn’t record any email addresses if you’re uploading anonymously.

However, Postimages do have a maximum allowed file size.

Images uploaded by both anonymous uploads and free accounts are limited to 24 megabytes and 10k x 10k pixel images.

Premium accounts are also limited to 48 megabytes and 10K X10K pixels images as well.

How to remain anonymous by using different image hosting sites?

The key to remaining anonymous whether you’re using different image hosting sites or setting up your own anonymous website is how you create your anonymous user profile or online persona.

First thing you need to do is get yourself a VPN. This will allow you to sign up for any mail service you like, yet always keeping your IP address anonymous.

This basically makes you the invisible man on the web.

With VPN’s you have several different IP addresses which are constantly shuffled every time you’re online,

So you’re never going to use the same IP address more than once.

Next, you can either open up yourself a Gmail account using your anonymous name and info or you can open up a proton email account, here’s a link that describes that a little more in detail.

When you are creating your online persona in Gmail or Proton, make sure that there is no traceable personal information you put in the fields when you sign up.

In fact, before setting up an anonymous email address with Protonmail, you should get their Proton VPN first, then set up your anonymous email address

Things like your birthday or names that could be traced back to you etc.

Once you have created these accounts and set up an email address with these accounts, then you need to start signing up for various image hosting platforms.

Some of these platforms are anonymous in and of themselves and some are not.

The ones that are anonymous tend to have limit restrictions on the amount of data that you can upload to them.

You also must not forget that every time you access your online personas accounts or accounts on various platforms, including the platforms where you have anonymous accounts already set up, to use your VPN.

This will allow you to be untraceable even back to your own computer.

Then simply upload your images anonymously and you’re good to go.

What is the best anonymous image hosting?

In my opinion, the best anonymous image hosting would be to get an offshore hosting account.

You can create an entire website anonymously, have it hosted offshore anonymously and host not only images but text like articles etc. even videos

Orangewebsite is one such offshore hosting company that can do this for you.

In fact, you can also open up an account with Orangewebsite anonymously.

You can even pay for your Orangewebsite account anonymously, since they not only accept Bitcoin, but if you’re more old school, then you can even send them cash in the mail. Can you believe that!

However, using Bitcoin would be your best bet.

You can buy Bitcoin even with a simple PayPal account nowadays.

Then you can pay Orangewebsite through that Bitcoin you purchased through your PayPal account.

Although your PayPal purchase of Bitcoin is not anonymous, your Bitcoin itself and what you do with that Bitcoin is.

Anonymous image hosting conclusions.

As you can see, anonymous image hosting is definitely doable.

You can either simply create a new and anonymous online persona and go through more traditional mainstream platforms or you can go to some of these other anonymous image hosting websites and host your images there.

However, if you want to take your anonymity to the next level, you can simply get yourself an offshore web hosting account, like with Orangewebsite, set it up anonymously and pay it through Bitcoin or even cash in the mail.

The key to anonymity in getting anonymous image hosting is though, is you must set up an anonymous user profile and do so correctly before you try any of the options above.

How deep in anonymity you want your images to be hosted, well that’s up to you.
