If you decide to use Blogspot as your free web host and use their free domain name service, your URL (your website address) will look like this: “mywebsite.blogspot.com”.
In addition, Blogspot is also a domain name registrar, so if you want a more custom domain name which sounds more serious and professional, like: “mywebsite.com”, then you can purchase it also through Blogspot.
In addition, you can still use their “free” hosting service, whether you have a free domain or a custom domain.
However, there are some limitations to using Blogger as your blogging platform and Blogspot as your web host.
