However, if you’re like me and considering starting a website totally based on quizzes, which is a great idea for gathering leads, email addresses as well as promoting various affiliate programs. 

Although if you simply want to add one or two quizzes, a test, or an assessment to your blog or website. 

Perhaps you still want to create a website that’s totally based around quizzes, tests etc. You could still do this too. 

But there are so many other free WordPress themes that look much better than the three “free WordPress Quiz” themes I had displayed above. 

You can easily customize most WordPress free themes by adding as many quizzes, tests and assessments as you wish. How? 

Through the use of plugins. 

Plugins after all are the bedrock of any WordPress website. So why not use them? 

They’re easy to install and most will at least get you started in adding a quiz, test or even an assessment onto your WordPress website. All for free. 

So you too can have the best of both worlds. A great looking WordPress website done with a free theme as well as loading it up with free quizzes, tests and assessments, also for free.

So basically you can turn a great looking and customizable free WordPress theme into a “free WordPress Quiz Theme”. I will show you how to do it with some great free plugins you can use. 

As far as a free theme I would recommend using the free versions of GeneratePress, Astra or OceanWP. 

This website is actually built on GeneratePress. I started out with the free version but liked it so much that I upgraded to its paid version. 

However, even the paid version is only about $60 bucks. It’s worth every penny. 

With the paid version of GeneratePress I get a whole list of additional widgets as well as an excellent selection of child themes that I could use for other websites as well. 

Their support is top notch and the developer of the GeneratePress theme, Tom Usborne, is quite active in the support form as well. This is not very common for many of the big box themes you get in these massive theme marketplaces. 

One added benefit of getting GeneratePress is their support forum. I have learned so much from participating in the support form as well as the great advice and help I’ve received from GeneratePress. 

Whenever I’ve had a question or an issue they’ve been always quick to respond. For $60, this is a steal and the renewals are about half the price. 

I highly advise you to check them out.
